Nestled in the heart of the historical town of Graaff-Reinet, in an 1823 Karoo cottage lies a beautifully renovated pet and human friendly cottage. Maintaining all the old world charm of wooden floors and ceilings but modernised to accommodate the luxuries of modern living, this cottage has been crafted together by its architect owner, to offer you the best of both worlds.

Self-Catering Cottage

Our self-catering cottage at 46 on Cradock Street offers the perfect breakaway for families.  Its main bedroom has a queen sized bed with old world mosquitoes nets and built in charging stations while the family room also boast a queen size bed paired with bunkbeds for your kiddies. The private and back yard is fully walled with a timber deck and 100 year old grape vine arbour creating an outside dining opportunity with mountain views you will not forget.

The modern kitchen has a separate scullery with dish washer and washing machine. The cooking area looks onto the open plan lounge and dining room with its gas stove and Nespresso coffee machine. In winter its wood burning fire place warms the entire cottage and creates an very Cozy atmosphere.

Just for good measure the entire cottage is off grid so seamless living through load shedding is all part of the experience. We look forward to welcome you to our cottage.
